When you click run in qt creator the program appears to run fine. Both Pi's have qt creator installed, same versions, etc. Interestingly the same executable runs on a different Raspberry Pi. I've used Qt Creator in the past, but didn't have any problems that I couldn't solve. Building Qt on the Raspberry Pi is pretty straightforward, there is one Pi specific configuration that needs to be made. I recently acquired by Pi for Christmas, and have installed Qt Creator on it.
